Job Description
Our office is looking for a motivated, part time hygienist for our progressive East Hampton dental team, beginning in January. Our goal is to build long-term patient relationships, with a focus on education and overall patient health.

Dental Hygienist Responsibilities
Perform routine dental cleanings and preventive care, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments.
Conduct oral health assessments, charting conditions of teeth and gums, and reviewing patients’ dental history.
Capture and process digital radiographs and assist with CBCT imaging as needed for diagnostic and treatment planning purposes.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies.
Apply sealants and desensitizing agents as directed by the dentist.
Collaborate with dentists to determine the best treatment plans for patients.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Ensure infection control standards are followed at all times, including sterilization of instruments and operatory preparation.
Provide a friendly, welcoming experience to patients of all ages.
Stay current with industry standards, technology, and continuing education requirements.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $42.00 - $50.00 per hour
