Dental Hygienist

Looking to hire a hardworking, people-oriented dental hygienist with high morals and integrity to work with a like-minded dental team for approximately 8-32 hours a week. Our privately owned, award-winning practice is well established and proudly delivers high quality care. Duties include adult and child prophylaxis, digital radiography, sealants, taking impressions, and advising patients on oral health and preventative care. Dedicated staff members are available to assist with room changeovers and provide chairside assistance as needed, allowing you to focus on providing optimal patient care. Additionally, all hygienists are provided with high speed intraoral suction units. The position is currently for 4 days/week
Sign on Bonus 1000.00 after 90 days
Responsibilities
· Screen and seat patients
· Conduct initial oral exam and check medical history
· Identify oral pathology and inform doctor of findings
· Administer prophylaxis and preventive varnish fluoride treatment
· Educate patients of all ages on best practices for oral care
· Take dental x-rays and impressions as needed
· Maintain patient charts with meticulous note keeping
Requirements
· Must be a registered dental hygienist with an associates degree from an accredited dental hygiene program
· Close attention to detail
· Outstanding communication skills
· A strong work ethic with a commitment to providing the utmost level of patient care
