Dental Hygienist - SIGN ON BONUS! (Full-Time or Part-Time Position Available!)
The Augusta Regional Dental Clinic, a non-profit charitable clinic, is seeking a dental hygienist to join our team. We provide quality care for uninsured area residents of all ages, as well as individuals enrolled in Virginia Medicaid programs.

The ideal candidate is a self -starter with impeccable chairside manners who will provide professional, high-quality care to patients with diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Previous work for a nonprofit clinic is not required. However, applicants must share our values and dedication to top quality, compassionate care for our underserved neighbors.

Requirements:
Associate degree or higher in dental hygiene from an accredited institution
Virginia state license
The ARDC expects individuals to have strong work ethic and commitment to our mission
Good critical thinking, flexibility, positive attitude, ability to initiate and complete multiple tasks
Ability to function in a collaborative manner with staff and others who work as part of our team
Ability to work in a fast paced healthcare facility with 45-minute to 1-hour long appointments while treating adult and geriatric populations (95% of day)
Ability to bend/twist for effective patient management during procedures (50% of day)
Ability to sit/stand for prolonged periods depending on dental procedure (85% of day)
Ability to lift 10 pounds daily while completing stock room tasks (5% of day)
Employment will be contingent upon pre-employment background screening
Fluency in Spanish or any other languages (preferred)
Salary and benefits:
Up to 4,000 sign on bonus for qualified applicants
Tuesday through Friday (7:30 AM - 5:30 PM)
Starting at $45 per hour and is commensurate with experience
1 hour paid lunch break every day, 10 paid holidays, 12 sick days and 2 weeks vacation
Clinic sponsored medical insurance (65%)
Clinic sponsored dental insurance for employees (100%) and their dependents (50%)
Retirement plan with employer matching contribution (3%) after one year
