Legacy Smiles is a privately owned general dentistry practice in Norridge, IL, conveniently located near I-90/94. Established for over 30 years, we're a patient-focused team dedicated to honest dentistry in a welcoming environment. We offer flexible scheduling, choose your own hours, for both full-time and part-time hygienists.

Our hygiene department is a key part of our practice, and we give our hygienists the time and support they need to provide excellent care, educate patients, and make a real impact on their oral health.

Responsibilities
● Provide high-quality dental hygiene care, including cleanings, scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments
● Perform periodontal charting and hygiene assessments
● Educate patients on oral health, prevention, and recommended care
● Take necessary radiographs and intraoral images as needed
● Partner with the doctor and team to deliver a great patient experience
● Maintain accurate clinical notes and documentation using cloud-based Dentrix Ascend
● Follow infection control and sterilization protocols in compliance with HIPAA regulations

Qualifications
● Active Illinois Dental Hygiene license
● Strong communication and patient education skills
● Positive attitude and team-first mindset
● Prior dental hygiene experience preferred, but open to the right fit
Schedule
Full-time or part-time. Specific days and hours can be discussed during the interview process.
