Duties
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.

Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical histories, and dental examinations to inform treatment plans.

Capture high-quality dental x-rays while adhering to infection prevention protocols.

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to foster lifelong dental health habits.

Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with meticulous attention to detail for documentation accuracy.

Maintain infection control standards by following HIPAA regulations, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures for all dental equipment.

Review medical records and documentation for completeness and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Ensure accurate dental coding for billing purposes while maintaining patient confidentiality throughout all processes.

Qualifications
Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice in a clinical setting.

Proven experience in general dentistry , demonstrating proficiency in dental care procedures.

Expertise in infection prevention management, aseptic technique, and healthcare infection control standards.

Ability to perform dental x-ray procedures accurately while maintaining patient safety protocols.

Excellent client communication skills with a focus on patient education and rapport building.

Knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements and maintaining strict confidentiality of medical records.
