Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Dental Hygienist to join our team for Saturday morning shifts from 8am to 2pm. This vital role involves providing exceptional patient care, performing dental cleanings, and assisting with various clinical procedures in a fast-paced, friendly dental environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about promoting oral health, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control, and patient assessment. Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to promote optimal oral health.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques for efficiency and patient comfort.
Take and evaluate vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature to ensure patient safety.
Prepare patients for treatment by reviewing medical history, updating medical records, and explaining procedures clearly.
Conduct dental radiographs (medical imaging) while maintaining strict infection control and aseptic techniques.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
Maintain accurate documentation review of treatment notes, medical coding, and EMR (Electronic Medical Records) entries using systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
