Job Description
Pi Dental Center located in Fort Washington, PA is currently accepting applications for a part time dental hygienist. Candidate initially needed Mondays and Thursdays starting at 7:30 a.m. with end time negotiable.
Pi Dental Center is a Prosthodontic office specializing in dental implants and advanced restorative dentistry.
Dental Hygienist Job Responsibilities:
Promotes dental health by completing dental prophylaxis, providing oral cancer screening and radiographic studies.
Educates patients by giving oral hygiene and plaque control instructions and postoperative instructions
Application of preventatives.
Documents dental hygiene services by charting in patient records.
Prepares treatment room for patient by adhering to prescribed procedures and protocols.
Greets and dismisses patients.
Provides information to patients and employees by answering questions and requests.
Maintains instrumentation for dental hygiene treatment by sharpening, sterilizing, and selecting instruments.
Schedules patient for next dental hygiene visit.
Performs all duties in accordance with HIPAA, OSHA and office policies.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Adheres to infection-control policies and protocols.
Requirements:
State-Registered Dental Hygienist
CPR certification
Prosthodontic experience a plus but not required.
