Dental Hygienist

```Job Summary:```
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our amazing team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality oral healthcare to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to perform dental cleanings, provide preventive care, and educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices.
```Duties:```

- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and debridement

- Conduct oral health assessments and screenings

- Take and develop dental x-rays

- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed -not mandatory

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for home care

- Perform dental charting and maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software

- Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures

- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
```Qualifications:```

- Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Florida

- Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene

- Proven experience working as a Dental Hygienist

- In-depth knowledge of dental anatomy, oral diseases, and treatment options

- Proficiency in dental imaging techniques for diagnostics

- Familiarity with dental office procedures and documentation

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, including children

- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
