About us:

What you’ll do
Provide comprehensive hygiene care (prophy, SRP, perio charting, radiographs)
Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and treatment options
Collaborate with the doctor on individualized treatment plans
Use intraoral 3D scanners (iTero and/or TRIOS 5 preferred)
Laser therapy (if certification is needed, practice will provide)
Maintain meticulous records and uphold OSHA/CDC infection-control standards
What we’re looking for
Active Virginia RDH license
Experience with iTero/TRIOS 5 a plus
Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations
Detail-oriented, reliable, team-focused, and patient-empathetic
Strong communication and professionalism

Responsibilities
Create a comfortable, positive patient experience
Review medical history, prior dental care, and current medications
Maintain an efficient hygiene schedule and help keep it full
Diagnose and treat gingivitis and periodontitis
Educate patients of all ages on home care
Explain treatment risks/benefits and provide post-op instructions
Maintain accurate records: perio charting, clinical notes, X-rays, CTs, and 3D (iTero) scans
Collaborate with the doctor on treatment plans
Monitor inventory and request supplies as needed
Skills
Licensed Dental Hygienist with proven clinical experience
Strong knowledge of HIPAA/OSHA and infection control
Proficient in instrument/equipment setup, use, and maintenance
Excellent communication; patient-centered rapport
Meticulous attention to detail
Laser certified (training available if needed)
Leadership and collaboration
Critical thinking and sound clinical judgment
Efficient time management
