Dental Hygienist FT 60-65/hour

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health is maintained and improved. This position requires a strong understanding of general dentistry practices, excellent patient interaction skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Dental experience as a hygienist is preferred and we prefer 1-2 years working experience.

Our practice is primarily a PPO/Private private with long term patients and we provide exceptional dental care.

Duties
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and oral examinations.

Perform dental cleanings, scaling, root planing as needed and polishing procedures to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Provide local anesthesia to patients as needed.

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care practices.

Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes.

Assist in infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Utilize XRay imaging techniques as needed for diagnostic purposes.

Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay current with advancements in dental hygiene.
