Dental Hygienist – Key Dental
Location: Brownsville, TX
Position Type: Full-Time
Key Dental is a modern, out-of-network, patient-centered dental practice that prioritizes clinical excellence and experience over high-volume dentistry. We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Dental Hygienist who values clinical excellence, communication, and system-based practice. As part of our hygiene team, you'll provide high-quality preventive care and help patients achieve optimal oral health through education and tailored treatment.
Position Overview
This role is ideal for a skilled hygienist who thrives in a collaborative environment and is confident managing a full schedule of adult and pediatric recall, SRP, and adjunctive perio services. You'll work closely with doctors and support staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes and positive experiences.
Primary Responsibilities
Perform prophylaxis, SRP, debridement, and fluoride treatments
Take dental radiographs, diagnostic intra-oral scans, and intra-oral images
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and treatment plans
Chart accurately and update periodontal records
Collaborate with doctors and assistants for comprehensive care
Recommend adjunctive products and schedule appropriate follow-ups
Maintain sterilization, infection control, and hygiene operatory readiness

Qualifications
Valid Texas Registered Dental Hygiene license
1+ year of dental experience preferred
Familiarity with Open Dental is a plus
Excellent communication and patient care skills
