Job Description
Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) – Full Time
Are you looking for a smaller-team environment within a modern, privately owned dental practice where communication, relationships, and exceptional patient care truly matter?
Do you want to practice hygiene in an environment where you are encouraged to educate patients, build relationships, grow clinically, and play an important role in the overall success of the practice?
Carolina Dentistry and Dentures may be the place for you.
We’re seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist who brings energy, professionalism, clinical confidence, and a genuine desire to make a difference. We want someone who is passionate about their profession, enjoys connecting with patients, and is excited to continue learning and growing alongside an experienced dental team.
We believe hygiene is an essential part of comprehensive dentistry. Our hygienists play an important role in helping patients understand their oral health, recognize disease early, and make informed decisions about their care. We place a strong emphasis on prevention, periodontal health, patient education, comprehensive treatment, and long-term patient relationships.
You’ll work alongside a doctor and team members who value collaboration between hygiene and restorative dentistry. Our goal is to provide our hygienists with the technology, support, communication, and clinical environment necessary to deliver excellent care—not simply move patients through a schedule.
What Makes Our Practice Different?
Carolina Dentistry and Dentures is a privately owned, relationship-driven dental organization committed to providing comprehensive and personalized dentistry in an environment where patients feel known, heard, and genuinely cared for.
Our practices combine the personal connection of private dentistry with the technology and resources of a growing organization.
Our technology includes:
TRIOS intraoral scanning
CBCT imaging
Digital workflows
On-site digital lab capabilities
Photography and patient education tools
Modern restorative, implant, and denture technology
We continually invest in our practices and our people because we believe better resources, better education, and better teamwork ultimately create a better experience for our patients.
Who We’re Looking For
Our ideal hygienist is someone who:
Provides exceptional clinical care while building genuine relationships with patients
Is confident identifying, documenting, and communicating periodontal disease
Has a passion for patient education and helping patients understand the “why” behind their care
Communicates treatment recommendations confidently and professionally
Has an upbeat, positive, and approachable personality
Demonstrates an exceptional chairside manner
Is organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage their schedule effectively
Takes ownership of their patients, schedule, and results
Is comfortable utilizing technology and learning new clinical workflows
Values continuing education and wants to continue growing clinically
Works well within a collaborative doctor/hygiene/team environment
Is dependable, adaptable, and willing to contribute wherever needed
Maintains a consistently professional appearance and attitude
Understands that exceptional patient care, efficiency, and practice success can—and should—work together
Must-Have Qualifications
Current Registered Dental Hygienist license in North Carolina
Current CPR/BLS certification
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Strong patient education skills
Professional and dependable
Comfortable working with modern dental technology
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Commitment to providing an exceptional patient experience
Experience is preferred, but we are open to meeting the right hygienist who brings a strong clinical foundation, positive attitude, and genuine desire to learn and grow.
