Dental Hygienist - Full time registered dental hygienist Monday-Thursday Private Office

Job Overview
We are seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our team at Alpine Dentistry, Full time or part time.

We are an established private dental practice with one dentist and one other full time hygienist. We make the patient experience a priority with excellent communication, friendliness, thorough and comfortable treatment.

We schedule 1 hour for prophy's, 1 hour for half-mouth SRP. This is NOT an accelerated schedule.

Hourly Rate
$65 per hour

Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.

Perform Scaling & Root Planing when appropriate.

Diagnose and treatment plan periodontal disease if present and not previously diagnosed by the dentist
Take routine bitewing x-rays and occasional PA x-rays as needed by the dentist
Apply fluoride varnish
Perform periodic examination when BWs are not scheduled and the patient has no concerns. Dentist will complete this exam if any concerns are identified.

Appoint patients for 6 month recall cleanings
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.

Qualifications
Valid dental hygiene license
