Hygiene Superstars Hop On!
Hygienists are THE solution to a healthier Lifestyle. Hygienists are the solution to a more joyful existence. YES, YOU the Hygienist. Looking for RDH SUPERSTARS to help us! We are an established PRIVATE dental practice experiencing continued growth needing a full time RDH that can take over a maternity leave (around 6-8months) to meet the needs of our patients.
Position Overview:
We are currently looking for a full time RDH that can cover a 2 maternity leaves back to back- early September 2026 to March 2027 (possibly more).
Our schedule would be design to spend 1 hour per patients, on an 8 hour schedule, except Fridays that would be a 6 hour (8-2) schedule.
Our office is in a great location, in a neighborhood full of families and great patients.
Only PPO and private. One hour is given to every recall patient to ensure high-quality cleaning and proper sanitation of the room, and Dental Assistance availability at all times if needed.
We would prefer at least 2 years of experience.
Responsibilities:
Using piezo and hand scaling to clean accretions, calcareous deposits, and stains from teeth and beneath the margins of gums.
Full mouth probing every year.
Taking Digital Xrays on a need basis.
Take Intraoral photography on a need basis.
Intraoral Scanning with iTero to visualize 3D once a year.
Educating patient about oral health, hygiene and prevention.
Requirements:
Ability to administer local anesthetic agents.
Able to use an x-ray machine.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Knowledgeable about oral hygiene and dental health.
Caring and passionate about oral health education!
