Dentistry By Design has an immediate opening for a Dental Hygienist.

We are looking for high energy candidates who consider themselves self-starters. The applicant we are looking for will complement the practice and encourage solid customer service skills, hygiene recall, and patient retention.

The Dental Hygienist supports Dentistry by Design by providing the basic dental care tasks, focused on teaching hygiene to patients and administering procedures for the oral care of teeth and gums. The role of each Dental Hygienist is to promote dental health and hygiene to patients while assisting the Dentist and team to make the practice successful.

Qualifications
Education:
Degree from a dental hygiene college or school approved by the board or accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of the American Dental Association or its successor agency is required.

Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Florida is required.

Dental Radiograph Certification is required.

Local Anesthesia License is highly desirable.

Experience:
One or more years’ experience in dental field is highly desirable.

Knowledge of government CMS regulatory requirements is preferred.

Dental Terminology is highly desirable
Computer literate: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) required.

Electronic dental records system knowledge a plus.

Pay: From $38.00 per hour
