Registered Dental Hygienist
Job Summary:
Join a warm, independently owned, family dentistry practice in Holden. Dr. Christina Shaw has carried on the practice her father started nearly forty years ago. Our recently expanded, state-of-the-art space gives you a modern place to do your best work and many of our team members and patients have relationships with us going back decades. As a small, patient-focused office, we keep a comfortable, friendly feel with no production requirements or pressures, and no weekends or Fridays.
We are looking for someone to work Tuesday 10-6, Wednesday 8-5, and/or Thursday 8-5 but are open to schedule discussion. Please e-mail your interest and resume to: hiring@shawfamilysmiles.com.
This position would ideally begin in November.

Responsibilities and duties:
As a dental hygienist you will operate fairly autonomously and report directly to Dr. Shaw. Responsibilities are typical of a dental hygienist role in a practice focused on general dentistry, such as:
- Educate patients on oral health and preventative care
- Clean and help protect patients’ teeth
- Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
- Conduct screenings and check oral health history
- Take radiographs and intraoral photos
- Perform Scaling and Root Planing
- Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases
- Our office is taking all extra precautions to keep our patients and staff safe. We will provide all the necessary PPE required by ADA, CDC, and OSHA.
Qualifications and skills
- Registered Dental Hygienist License in Masschusetts (Required)
- CPR certified
- All levels of experience welcome
