Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice serving the Lake Norman and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health is maintained through effective hygiene practices. Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of maintaining good dental health.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate medical records using dental software systems.
Assist in the management of patient flow within the clinic, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
Collaborate with dentists in providing care for pediatric dentistry patients, ensuring comfort and understanding.
Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Requirements
Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations.
Strong communication skills to educate patients clearly about their oral health needs.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
