As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting good dental hygiene practices, educating patients, and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality care.
Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as necessary.
Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records using.
Assist in the management of patient flow within the office to ensure efficient operations.
Collaborate with dentists on treatment plans.
Provide excellent customer service to create a welcoming atmosphere for all patients.
Stay updated on the latest dental practices, and technologies.
Requirements
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Proficiency in using ABEL Dent software is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
Knowledge of orthodontics and pediatrics is a plus.
Experience in a dental office setting is highly desirable.
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to enhance patient communication.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism.
Pay: $40.00-$55.00 per hour
