Job Description
Prestige Dental Care West is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Dental Hygienist with certification in administering local anesthesia (or working towards the certification).
Looking for a hygienist to fill any or all of the following days: Monday, 1/2 Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and 2 half Fridays a month
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive oral prophylaxis procedures, including scaling, root planing, and polishing.
Administer local anesthesia to patients under the direct or indirect supervision of a dentist (as per state regulations).
Take and record patient medical histories and vital signs.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques.
Assist the dentist with various procedures as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Comply with all infection control and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
Current and valid Registered Dental Hygienist license in Florida.
Certified in administering local anesthesia (proof of certification required).
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Experience with electronic dental records (EHR) preferred.
Pay: $40.00 - $42.00 per hour
