About Family Smile Center
Family Smile Center is a privately owned, high-volume dental practice serving Gwinnett County for nearly 20 years. Led by Dr. Tonique Reynolds, we specialize in general, cosmetic, and implant dentistry. We are in an active growth phase and are making an investment in our hygiene department, starting with the right hire.

About This Role
This is a full-time position for a hygienist who wants to grow. We are not just filling a column. We are building a hygiene program. The person we hire will receive structured training, clinical mentorship, and genuine support from Dr. Reynolds. In return, we expect full commitment to the practice, the team, and the standard we hold.

What You'll Do
Participate in the daily morning huddle; contribute to scheduling and patient care planning
Perform comprehensive periodontal exams and document findings on every patient
Deliver prophylaxis, SRP, debridement, and other non-surgical periodontal procedures
Conduct oral cancer screenings and communicate findings to Dr. Reynolds
Educate patients on their periodontal health and individualized home care
Present restorative needs; actively support Dr. Reynolds' treatment recommendations
Re-engage lapsed patients and book next appointments before dismissal
Keep your schedule full. Work to fill cancellations. Do not accept empty time
Reappoint every patient before dismissal
Complete auxiliary procedures: sealants, fluoride treatments
Post all treatment notes in Dentrix
Help to maintain hygiene equipment and operatory to OSHA standards.

Attend all staff meetings and complete all assigned training programs.

Requirements
Active Georgia RDH license in good standing
Current CPR/BLS certification
Radiography certification
Experience with Dentrix preferred
Strong patient communication skills
Commitment to completing formal training programs provided by the practice
