Job Description
Overview
We are looking for a friendly, motivated, and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our growing dental team in Chapel Hill, NC!
FEE FOR SERVICE ONLY OFFICE(NO MEDICAID/MEDICARE), where your expertise will help deliver exceptional patient care in a steady-paced, supportive environment. We expect you to run one column of patients with exceptional chair side manners.
Duties
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing.
Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories to ensure safe treatment plans.
Capture dental X-rays, ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term health.
Maintain accurate medical records, document treatment notes, and review documentation for completeness and accuracy.
Follow infection control protocols adhering to OSHA standards, aseptic techniques, and HIPAA regulations to protect patients and staff.
Requirements
Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current CPR certification.
Proficiency in dental software systems such as Eaglesoft for record keeping and documentation review.
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively while demonstrating professionalism and compassion.
Experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
Pay: $51.00 - $56.00 per hour
