About Calian
At Calian, we help organizations overcome obstacles, manage risks, and drive progress. Since 1982, we’ve grown from a small consulting firm into a trusted global company across defence, space, health, nuclear energy, public safety, and government.
We create innovative solutions that tackle complex challenges and help organizations and communities stay resilient, informed, and connected. If you’re driven by purpose and energized by solving real-world challenges, we want you on our team.
Job Type: Full Time
Calian is proud to continue a long-standing contractual relationship with the Department of National Defence (DND) to provide healthcare services to the Canadian Armed Forces. Through the Health Care Provider Contract, Calian employs health care professionals across Canada who are integral to supporting the health and wellbeing of our military members.

Calian is seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Hygienist Level 2 to join our team at the CFB Edmonton Dental Clinic.
This role offers something rare in healthcare: true work-life balance. The clinic operates Monday to Friday during daytime hours only, meaning no evenings, no weekends, and no on-call shifts.
Beyond the schedule, you’ll be part of a clinical team delivering high-quality care to Canada’s military members. If you want meaningful work in a structured, predictable environment where your time is respected, this is a strong next step.
Responsibilities
Deliver preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene care including scaling, root planing, polishing, radiographs, and periodontal assessments
Support dentists during procedures and perform authorized clinical tasks within scope of practice
Educate patients on oral health, hygiene techniques, and preventative care strategies
Maintain clinical standards including infection control, equipment maintenance, documentation, and patient records
Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from a program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada
Unrestricted dental hygienist license in the province of practice
Certification in the administration of local anesthetics from a CDAC-accredited institution
Additional Requirements
Candidates must be eligible and able to obtain and maintain a Reliability level Government Security clearance.
