Dental Hygienist

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about preventive care, patient education, and maintaining high clinical standards, while contributing to a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing
Conduct oral health assessments, including periodontal charting
Take and review dental radiographs (X-rays)
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
Assist the dentist in identifying treatment needs and developing care plans
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Ensure compliance with OSHA and CDC infection control standards
Manage operatory setup and sterilization protocols
Qualifications:
Active Dental Hygienist license (as required by state regulations)
Local anesthesia certification (preferred/required based on state)
Strong knowledge of periodontal disease and preventive care practices
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Experience with Dentrix is a plus
