Dental Hygienist (Part-Time)
Livermore, CA
We are a family-oriented general dental practice located in Livermore, CA, dedicated to providing gentle, efficient, and compassionate dental care in a traditional practice setting. Our goal is to create a comfortable and positive experience for both our patients and team.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and skilled Part-Time Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about patient care. This role involves delivering high-quality preventive dental services while educating patients on maintaining optimal oral health.
Schedule:
- Thursdays: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Saturday 1 per month 7:45AM – 2:00 PM
- Open to candidates available one or both days
- Approximately up to 8-16 hours per week
Compensation:
- $65.00 – $75.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform dental cleanings and oral examinations
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Take digital dental x-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records using digital charting systems
- Provide preventive treatments including fluoride applications and sealants
- Remove deposits and stains using hand and ultrasonic instruments
- Administer local and topical anesthetics when needed for periodontal procedures
Qualifications:
- Experience in general dentistry (pediatric experience a plus)
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with infection control and aseptic techniques
- Experience with dental software (Dentrix preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Location Requirement:
- Ability to commute or relocate to Livermore, CA prior to start (preferred)
