Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions.
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures using chairside assisting techniques.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
Take and develop dental radiographs (medical imaging) while adhering to infection control protocols.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Monitor and document patient progress, updating medical records accordingly.
Ensure aseptic techniques are followed consistently to maintain a sterile environment
Use dental terminology accurately when documenting procedures or explaining treatments to patients.
Manage infection control procedures and sterilization processes within the clinic setting.
Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
Qualifications
Valid licensure as a Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations.
Pay: $58.14 - $70.01 per hour
