You will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care, provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, educate patients on oral hygiene practices, and support the overall efficiency of our dental practice. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel confident and cared for at every visit.
Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions.
Take X-rays to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
Maintain accurate and detailed records, documenting treatments, assessments, and patient interactions in Open Dental.
Follow strict infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and HIPAA regulations to protect patient safety and confidentiality.
Requirements
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control procedures.
Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy at all times.
Pay: $45.00 - $52.00 per hour
