Job Description
Dental Hygienist
We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate is committed to providing exceptional patient care, promoting oral health, and creating a comfortable and positive experience for every patient.
Responsibilities
Provide professional dental hygiene services, including teeth cleanings, oral examinations, and preventive care.
Assist the dental team in identifying oral health concerns through visual examinations and review of patient history.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and preventive dental care.
Communicate effectively with patients and team members using appropriate dental terminology.
Ensure treatment areas and equipment are clean, organized, and properly sterilized in accordance with safety and infection-control standards.
Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
Assist with administrative and other clinical tasks as needed to support smooth office operations.
Help create a welcoming environment while prioritizing patient comfort and satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 2 years of experience working in a dental clinic, preferably in a patient-care role.
Current Dental Hygienist registration/certification and required credentials.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and preventive care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to educate and reassure patients in a professional and compassionate manner.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness, safety, and infection control.
Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative dental team.
Bilingual skills are a plus.
Compensation
Pay is based on experience and qualifications.
