Overview
Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Hygienist and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care! Duties
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while ensuring patient safety protocols are followed.
Assist in diagnosing oral health issues by reviewing patient histories and current conditions.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Support the dental team with procedures related to orthodontics, pediatrics, or other specialties as needed.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient questions, alleviating concerns, and ensuring a positive experience.
Requirements
Valid Ontario licensure or certification as a Dental Hygienist.
Proven experience working in a dental office environment with strong knowledge of dental assisting procedures.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry and oral health.
Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse patient populations effectively.
Experience in a busy private practice is a plus
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately.
