Registered Dental Hygienist

Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately using dental imaging equipment.
Conduct patient assessments by measuring vital signs and evaluating oral health status.
Educate patients on proper dental care techniques, including brushing, flossing, and dietary advice.
Follow infection prevention protocols, including aseptic techniques and sterilization of dental instruments.
Review documentation for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality.
Experience
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dental care.
Hands-on experience with dental x-ray procedures, X-ray safety protocols, and radiation safety standards.
Expertise in healthcare infection prevention and control management, including sterilization procedures and aseptic technique.
Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively on oral health practices.
Understanding of HIPAA compliance management to ensure privacy and security of medical records.
Pay: From $40.00 per hour
