Job Summary
Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Hygienist and play a vital role in promoting optimal oral health and creating positive patient experiences. In this energetic and rewarding position, you will deliver high-quality preventative dental care, educate patients on maintaining healthy smiles, and support the overall success of our practice. Your expertise will help foster a welcoming environment where patients feel cared for, informed, and motivated to prioritize their oral health.
1-3 days/week. Monday-Wednesday.
Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices, dietary habits, and preventive care strategies.
Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and treatments with professionalism and efficiency.
Chart patient information accurately in electronic health records while ensuring confidentiality.
Instruct patients on proper brushing, flossing techniques, and use of dental products to maintain oral health at home.
Maintain a clean, organized operatories and sterilize dental instruments according to infection control protocols.
Requirements
Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state or regional regulations.
Proven experience in performing dental cleanings, radiography, and patient education.
Strong knowledge of oral anatomy, periodontal disease prevention, and infection control standards.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and motivate patients of all ages.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage patient records accurately.
Enthusiastic attitude with a passion for promoting oral health and providing exceptional patient care.
