Join our growing dental team as a Dental Hygienist, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and promoting optimal oral health. Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
Manage medical imaging procedures such as X-rays while adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Support infection control procedures by maintaining sterilization standards and managing documentation review for safety compliance.
Collaborate with the dental team on patient care plans, documentation review, and medical coding for billing purposes.
Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment following OSHA guidelines and ensuring all dental assisting tasks are performed efficiently.
Experience
Prior experience working in a dental office or clinic setting is highly preferred but NOT required.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic technique is essential.
Familiarity with PMS systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix enhances workflow efficiency.
Experience with pediatric dentistry is a plus, demonstrating comfort working with children in a pediatric dentistry environment.
Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs monitoring, and medical records management ensures comprehensive patient assessment.
