Role Summary
We're looking for a dedicated Dental Hygienist who is caring, attentive, and passionate about helping patients achieve long-term oral health. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional preventive care while creating a comfortable and welcoming experience for every patient.
This position will begin as part-time during our initial opening phase. As the practice grows, we anticipate expanding the role to full-time, with the goal of transitioning by the end of the year or early next year.
What You'll Do
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments.
Conduct periodontal assessments and document clinical findings.
Take dental X-rays as needed to assist with diagnosis and treatment planning.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and home care techniques.
Collaborate with the dentist and clinical team to support high-quality patient care.
Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date patient records.
Represent Kliniko's commitment to excellence in every patient interaction.
Note: Responsibilities outlined above reflect the core duties of this position but may be expanded based on clinic needs.
Qualifications
Current Florida Dental Hygienist license.
At least three years of professional experience as a Dental Hygienist.
Certification to administer local anesthesia is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to patient-centered care.
Familiarity with modern dental technologies and clinical procedures is a plus.
Schedule
Part-time during the practice's initial opening phase.
Minimum of 16 hours per week.
Opportunity to transition into a full-time position as the practice grows.
8-hour shifts.
