Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care while performing dental hygiene procedures. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with the dental team to ensure the highest standards of patient care and comfort. Our Doctor has 20+ years of experience! We offer paid CE, Training and a Monthly Bonus Structure!
Duties
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planning procedures.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of preventive care.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Maintain accurate patient records within the Dentrix system and ensure compliance with medical terminology standards.
Assist in pediatric dentistry procedures, ensuring a comfortable experience for younger patients.
Collaborate with dentists and other team members to provide comprehensive patient care within the dental office environment.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Requirements
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental practice management systems is a plus.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to best practices in dental hygiene.
