Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.

Assist with dental procedures by providing chairside support, including handling dental instruments and managing patient comfort.
Capture and interpret dental radiographs (X-rays) using appropriate imaging techniques while adhering to infection prevention protocols.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix, ensuring HIPAA compliance at all times.
Follow strict infection control procedures, including aseptic techniques, to prevent cross-contamination and ensure patient safety.
Collaborate with dentists and other team members to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
Stay current with advancements in dental technology, terminology, and best practices related to pediatric dentistry and general dentistry.
Skills
Proficiency in using EHR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for documentation review and medical records management.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, equipment operation, and medical imaging techniques relevant to dental x-ray procedures.
Expertise in pediatric dentistry principles, including working with children and understanding their unique dental needs.
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse age groups and backgrounds.
Familiarity with infection prevention management, healthcare infection control standards, and aseptic techniques.
Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently during various dental procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to maintaining patient confidentiality and data security within electronic health records (EHR).
Experience with medical coding related to dental procedures for accurate documentation and billing purposes.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing medical records, documentation review, and clinical workflows.
