Dental Hygienist

Responsibilities:

- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing using magnification

- Take dental x-rays

- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized oral health care recommendations

- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed

- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical history and performing oral cancer screenings

- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations

- Follow aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and sterile environment
Experience:

- New Grads welcome to apply

- Proficiency in dental coding and billing procedures

- Knowledge of dental imaging techniques and equipment

- Strong patient assessment skills

- Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology for digital impressions and restorations

- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (we use Dentrix Ascned)

- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy protocols

- Solid knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
