About us
Our Mission: "At Nashville Dental Studio, we want to provide a personalized and comprehensive dental experience for our patients while being honest, transparent, understanding, respectful, and fun. Our practice has been an established practice in the Nashville/Brentwood area for 30+ years. We have a great team in place and the practice is ready for growth and new patients. We are looking to add one more member in our hygiene department to help with this demand. This is a part time position, partially flexible on days.
We are looking for the right individual to join our team. We are looking for a team player and someone who is trustworthy, authentic, engaging, and fun! Our patients are important to us. It is vital we find someone who feels this same way. We believe it is important to treat our patients well and give them the best dental care possible!
- Remove plaque and dental calculus from teeth
- Instruct patients on the use of prophylactic oral hygiene measures to prevent disease
- Administer local anesthetics topically or by injection to treat localized pain or discomfort
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and assist dentists during procedures at the dentist's direction
Responsibilities:
Maintain dental equipment.
Provide oral hygiene instruction and tracking to ensure timely completion of recommended treatments.
Examine teeth and gums to note changes and determine the need for treatment.
Educate patients on the importance of oral hygiene.
Refer patients to a dentist when necessary.
Maintain professional relationships with other staff members.
Participate in continuing education classes and industry meetings.
Be familiar with the policies and procedures for the dental office.
Pay: $42.00 - $47.00 per hour
