Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and gentle Part-Time Dental Hygienist with at least 2 years of clinical experience to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in preventative care, helping our patients maintain optimal oral health while delivering a comfortable and positive dental experience.
Key Responsibilities
Perform high-quality diagnostic cleanings, periodontal therapy, and routine oral hygiene care.
Take digital X-rays and assist in diagnostic screening for decay, gum disease, and oral cancer.
Educate patients on proper home care, hygiene techniques, and preventative treatments.
Maintain complete, accurate, and detailed patient chart notes in a timely manner.
Follow all OSHA, HIPAA, and safety compliance standards to ensure a clean, safe environment.
Collaborate closely with the dentist and front office team to support seamless patient flow.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Active State Dental Hygiene License and current CPR/BLS certification.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH).
Skills: Strong clinical technique, confident patient communication, and familiarity with digital X-rays/dental software.
Attributes: Punctual, empathetic, detail-oriented, and team-focused.
Schedule & Compensation
Hours: Part-Time (Specific days and hours to be discussed during the interview).
Pay: Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience.
