Reputable Midtown dental practice, 209 NYC Dental, is seeking a dedicated and personable Dental Hygienist for a unique part-time position with a clear path to full-time employment, if desired.
Our practice is distinguished by a loyal and appreciative patient base who value high-quality, comprehensive dental care. We are looking for a skilled hygienist to join our professional team one day a week, with the potential to expand to a full-time role. This position is ideal for a candidate seeking to focus on patient education and oral health maintenance in a supportive and collaborative environment.
An Unconventional and Rewarding Role:
This position offers a unique departure from the traditional hygienist role. The successful candidate will not need to take X-rays or clean instruments. Instead, the focus will be on providing thorough oral hygiene education, patient counseling, and fostering positive, long-term patient relationships.
Position Details:
Schedule: One day a week, Sundays, from 9 am to 3 pm, additional days available
Location: 209 NYC Dental, located at 209 East 56th Street, New York, NY.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional patient education on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
Develop and maintain strong, trusting relationships with our valued patients.
Collaborate with our team of dentists and specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain a welcoming and professional demeanor.
Qualifications:
Valid New York State Dental Hygienist license.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A passion for patient education and building rapport.
A reliable and professional work ethic.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $60.00 per hour
