Job Description

Our busy single doctor practice and small team work together no matter the tasks to make our office run smooth and efficiently to achieve goals. We treat our patients like family and highly value our patient relationships. While we work hard we have fun doing it! We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, team work and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal treatments for patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
Assess and document patient oral health status, including medical history and dental concerns.
Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and hygienic environment during procedures.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, dietary recommendations, and preventive care.
Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Operate dental imaging equipment and interpret medical imaging results as necessary.
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinic systems.
Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices, terminology, and technology.
Requirements
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist
Anesthesia Certified
Proficiency in dental terminology and anatomy knowledge is essential.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of care.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
Experience with Dentrix a plus
Hourly rates for Registered Dental Hygienist positions within the company START at $55/hour and can be negotiated based on experience
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $55.00 - $68.00 per hour
