Dental Hygienist

Job Overview

Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing
Take digital scans (iTero) and X-rays, following infection prevention protocols
Review each patient's full medical history and current health, assessing their oral condition through a holistic, whole-body lens
Educate patients on hygiene and preventive care, connecting it to their broader health and daily habits
Assist chairside during procedures, keeping things smooth for the dentist and comfortable for the patient
Maintain accurate records in Dentrix, and follow HIPAA and infection control standards
Actively pursue ongoing training and continuing education in holistic and integrative techniques, staying current as the field evolves
Skills
At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a dental hygienist
Comfortable with iTero scanning and digital X-rays
Strong clinical fundamentals — anatomy, infection control, patient assessment
A true people's person patients like and trust from the first hello
Real love for this work, and real eagerness to keep learning and growing in it
A genuine interest in holistic and integrative dental care, with a willingness to learn new techniques such as Saliva Testing, Guided Biofilm Therapy, Ozone Therapy and more.

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
