Registered Dental Hygienist – Oakville
Please no calls to the office.
Join our team at a long-established and newly refreshed Oakville dental clinic (located on Dorval, right off the highway!). We are looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our experienced, long-time team.
We are hiring for a full-time position with the following hours:
Monday: 7:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Thursday: 7:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Our practice offers a welcoming and professional environment. We pride ourselves on providing outstanding care to families and maintaining a positive workplace for our team.
Key Requirements:
Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in good standing with the CDHO.
Minimum of 3 years of dental hygiene experience.
Familiarity with ABELDent software is an asset (training can be provided).
Proficiency in English.
Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Ability to work independently with a keen eye for detail.
Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments, including periodontal evaluations.
Provide dental prophylaxis, periodontal scaling, and root planing.
Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants.
Take and interpret dental radiographs (x-rays).
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
Develop individualized oral health care plans.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols.
Collaborate with dentists and team members to deliver excellent patient care.
