Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice part time or full time available. This is a growing private practice with 1 dentist. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health is maintained and improved. This position requires a thorough understanding of dental procedures, the standard of care, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
Perform dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of maintaining good dental health.
Assist in the documentation of patient medical histories and treatment plans.
Conduct assessments of patients' vital signs and overall health as necessary.
Utilize imaging systems to capture necessary diagnostic images.
Review documentation for accuracy and completeness prior to patient treatment.
Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive care, including four-handed dentistry techniques.
Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
Valid dental hygiene license in the state of Georgia.
Experience with EagleSoft and iTero is preferred but not required.
Ability to record documentation efficiently and accurately.
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach towards patient care.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
