We are seeking a talented dental hygienist who excels in providing exceptional preventive dental care, patient education, and is eager to learn and utilize iTero technology to motivate patients for treatment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and oral examinations, ensuring patients' oral health is maintained at the highest level.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and the use of specialized dental products.
- Conduct periodontal assessments and provide personalized treatment plans to address gum disease and maintain periodontal health.
- Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants to prevent cavities and protect patients' teeth.
- Utilize iTero technology to perform intraoral scans and collaborate with the dental team to motivate patients to pursue recommended treatment plans.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree or associate degree in dental hygiene from an accredited dental hygiene program.
- Current state licensure as a dental hygienist and CPR certification.
- Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, including scaling and root planing, and proficiency in using dental instruments and equipment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively educate and motivate patients to maintain optimal oral health.
