We pride ourselves on creating a comfortable, positive experience for everyone who sits in the chair. You’ll work closely with our dentists and assistants to provide top-notch, comprehensive care in a supportive environment where your hygiene skills, communication, and attention to safety truly matter.
Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical histories, and evaluating oral health status.

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to foster lifelong healthy habits.
Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) using OpenDental, documenting all procedures, findings, and patient interactions (we are willing to train).
Adhere strictly to infection prevention protocols, including aseptic techniques and sterilization of dental equipment, ensuring and going above and beyond compliance with healthcare regulations.
Skills
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical coding to accurately document procedures.
Experience with pediatric dentistry is highly desirable for working with young patients in a friendly manner.
Expertise in infection prevention management, healthcare infection control practices, and maintaining patient confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines.
Ability to communicate clearly with patients of all ages, providing excellent client communication and patient education.
Knowledge of medical imaging techniques including dental x-ray procedures; familiarity with electronic dental software systems for seamless documentation management.
