Dental Hygienist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Part-Time Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and patient education while ensuring comfort, safety, and a positive patient experience during visits. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth
Conduct patient assessments and record medical and dental histories
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of preventive care
Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
Utilize dental software (e.g., AbelDent) for patient records and scheduling
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant clinical environment in accordance with safety and infection control protocols
Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the overall patient experience
Experience & Qualifications
A valid Dental Hygienist license through the CDHO is required
Candidates without a valid CDHO licence will not be considered
Familiarity with dental assisting practices is considered an asset
Previous experience working in a dental office setting is preferred
