Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Dental Hygienist for a part-time position, to join our team at our location! As a dental hygienist, you will play a vital role in delivering top-notch patient care and maintaining our excellent standards of hygiene.
Schedule:
Fridays: 9:00am - 3:00pm
Saturdays (every other): 9:00 - 2:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Interaction: Greet patients and treat them with professionalism and courtesy.
Patient education: Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and proper dental care
Team Collaboration: Work closely with dental professionals and support staff to ensure seamless patient care and a positive overall experience.
Adherence to Regulations: Comply with all applicable dental and healthcare regulations, including patient confidentiality and privacy standards.
Clinical duties: Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and root planning, Conduct oral health assessments and take X-rays, Maintain patient records and treatment plans. Orthodontics experience is an asset.
Qualifications:
CDHO license/Liability Insurance (required)
Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and Abel Dent dental software program is an added asset.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and a friendly demeanor.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining patient records
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment.
