BINGHAMTON AREA HYGIENISTS, WE NEED YOU IMMEDIATELY!
We appreciate our staff, provide flexibility in scheduling and just ask the same in return. If you're mildly curious about what sets us apart from the rest, give us a call and we can talk.
We offer free preventative care for the employee and family and discounts for major dental work.
*We are looking for someone 1-2 days per week from 8-4:30, with lunch from 12:30 - 1:30. If you prefer part-time, we can offer additional hours in the summer to cover for vacations.
Dental Hygienist Overview
We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our friendly and professional dental team as a full-time or part-time employee. We are a small office with one dentist and two hygienists and find we are busy and really need a third. We can offer full or part time hours up to three days a week. The ideal dental hygienist will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting good oral health in a relaxed and friendly setting. This is a great option for someone looking for full or part time work in a well-established family dental practice.
Dental Hygienst Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal therapy.
Conduct patient assessments, including medical history review and oral examinations.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosing dental conditions.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
Document patient treatments and maintain accurate records using Dentisoft Program.
Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Work with patients of all ages using appropriate techniques.
Dental Hygienist Qualifications
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
CPR and Child Abuse Training
Familiarity with Dentisoft software systems preferred, but we will train.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Commitment to continuing education and professional development in the field of dental hygiene.
