Job Overview
We are looking for an energetic, personal and professional Dental Hygienist to join our practice! We are a busy, well established 3-doctor practice with an outstanding team and a strong focus on providing excellent patient care in a positive and supportive environment.
This is a great opportunity for a hygienist who values work-life balance and a consistent schedule.
Schedule:
Tuesday and Thursday
7:45-5:00 with a 1 hr lunch
1 hour prophys
1.5 hour new patient/SRP appointments

Responsibilities
Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using dental imaging equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote lifelong dental health.
Assist the dentist during procedures with chairside assisting, ensuring smooth workflow with four-handed dentistry techniques.
Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix accurately, documenting treatment details and medical records.
Maintain infection prevention standards by following HIPAA guidelines, aseptic techniques, and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
Qualifications
Valid licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current state licensing requirements.
Proficiency with EHR systems like Eaglesoft
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to dental care.
Skilled in dental equipment operation, X-ray procedures, and infection prevention management.
Excellent communication skills for client education and patient care documentation review.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and patient confidentiality.
