About Us
We are a busy general dental practice offering comprehensive dental services, including preventive, restorative, cosmetic, and implant dentistry. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our team and provide exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
Provide preventive dental care, including professional cleanings (prophylaxis and scaling/root planing).
Conduct oral health assessments and charting of periodontal conditions.
Take and process digital X-rays as needed.
Administer local anesthesia and/or nitrous oxide (if licensed and applicable).
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment recommendations.
Collaborate with the dentist to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Ensure compliance with infection control and OSHA standards.
Contribute to a positive and professional patient experience.
Qualifications
Valid California Dental Hygienist License.
Current CPR certification.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Previous experience in a general dental practice preferred but not required.
