Overview
Join our dental team as a Dental Hygienist and help provide exceptional patient care in a friendly, welcoming environment. You'll use your skills to deliver quality cleanings, assess oral health, and educate patients on maintaining healthy smiles while building lasting relationships with them.
Duties
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including regular and deep cleanings to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Reviewing medical history and current dental conditions to make informed treatment plans.
Take X-rays, ensuring proper technique and patient safety.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term health.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient records and treatment notes
Follow infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and HIPAA regulations to ensure a safe clinical environment for patients and staff.
Skills
Proficiency with dental software platforms such as OpenDental for scheduling, documentation review, and record keeping.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy
Familiarity with medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry and general dentistry practices.
